Dear students,
Students, who have taken BME2301 Circuit Theory course in a previous term, would be directly exempt from the lab part of the course for this semester only if they have previously scored 60 or above for the lab before. Their previous score will be counted as their final Lab score. These students can also attend to the Lab exemption exam to enhance their previous score (which is above 60), but they should be aware that they will need to retake the Lab sessions in the condition of getting a Lab exemption exam score below 60.
Repeating students, who do not satisfy the above condition and want to be exempt from the lab, must take the lab exemption exam that will take place on the second week of the term. Students who achieve 60 or higher in this exam may be exempt from the lab section. Their Lab exemption exam score will be counted as their final Lab score.
Exemption exam for Circuit Theory lab will consist of two parts;
1. Simulation: You will be given a circuit to simulate in a limited amount of time. You will prepare a basic report that contains your simulation results and upload this file before the given deadline. This part of the exam will take place on 12/10/2022 at 20:00-22:00.
2. Circuit building and measurement: This part of the exam will test your ability to build a circuit and use the devices that were covered in Circuit Theory lab. This part of the exam will take place on 13/10/2022 during lab hours.
Use the form given in the link below to apply for exemption or the exam.
UPDATE: Deadline for application is 10/10/2022 23:59. Both students who wants to be exempt without exam (with 60 or higher grade in a previous term) and students who wants to take the exam must fill the form.
